Universal BASIC tank ring with BMW internal mounting
The tank ring creates the mechanical connection between a suitable BMW tank area and a Hepco & Becker tank bag using the BASIC system. The exact model compatibility should be checked before selection.
Ring and retaining plate as one unit
The BASIC tank ring and the corresponding tank bag component are supplied. Its position on the tank bag can be set while taking the tank shape and steering lock into account. A tank bag is required separately.
Mechanical BASIC function
When fitted, the tank bag engages audibly on the ring. To remove it, the lock is released using the strap positioned at the front in the direction of travel. The fuel filler cap can also be opened with the tank ring fitted.

A BASIC tank ring works exclusively with a BASIC retaining plate. Lock-it system components are not interchangeable.
