BASIC tank ring for the 2001–2002 Honda CBR 600 F Sport

This model-specific tank ring connects a Hepco & Becker BASIC-system tank bag to the 2001 to 2002 Honda CBR 600 F Sport. The tank ring and corresponding retaining plate form a complete mounting set.

Mechanical BASIC locking system

The tank bag is placed on the ring and engages mechanically with an audible click. To remove it, the lock is released using the strap at the front of the tank bag. The fuel filler cap can still be opened with the tank ring fitted.

• Retaining plate can be positioned on the tank bag to suit the shape of the tank and the steering lock

The tank ring and retaining plate must belong to the same system: a Lock-it retaining plate is not compatible with this BASIC tank ring. When installed as intended, neither an ABE nor registration is required.
