Aluminum cylinder kit for LML Star 125 Classic

The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder kit with 63 mm diameter and racing piston compression is intended for the LML Star 125 Classic from 2013 to 2017. The version with aluminum cylinder, CVF2 and 15 mm piston pin is aimed at use in competitions at designated venues.

Construction and cooling

The cylinder is made of a high-strength aluminum alloy and has a cylinder liner with a nickel-chrome coating. A uniform wall thickness supports controlled heat exchange around the liner and openings. Aerodynamically profiled cooling fins promote the flow of cooling air.

Cylinder head and combustion

The cylinder head has sized cooling fins to dissipate heat. The hemispherical combustion chamber is manufactured with tolerances in the tenth of a millimeter range. The high-precision centering between the cylinder and head takes place via the machined contact surfaces.

Connection and adjustment

The connection to the exhaust is via a flange with four head screws on the cylinder and an O-ring seal on the exhaust. The system is designed for exhaust systems with a 37 mm inlet diameter. A basic set with gaskets of different thicknesses allows the compression to be adapted to different applications.
