Controlled protection for roads and racetracks

The Evotech brake lever protection kit in the road version was developed to prevent unintentional actuation of the front brake lever. The race-tested concept prepares the Yamaha YZF-R7 for use on the road and at track days.

Manufactured construction

• Guard bar CNC milled from high-quality solid aluminum material
• Shaping to minimize air turbulence
• Durable black powder coating on guard bars and bar end weights
• Larger and heavier road version compared to the original bar end weight

The additional weight can reduce high-frequency vibrations that are transmitted to the driver's hands.

• Evotech Road brake lever protector
• Model-specific EP handlebar end weight for attachment
• Matching replacement handlebar end weight for the left side

Assembly

The kit is securely attached to the handlebars using the model-specific Evotech handlebar end mount. The construction is designed for uncomplicated and at the same time stable installation.

After assembly, it must be checked that the throttle grip play and the smooth opening and independent closing of the throttle grip are not affected. The kit is intended exclusively for use with the original throttle tube and original handlebar grip.
