Extra height for a pronounced racing profile: This windscreen was manufactured specifically for the 2017-2026 YAMAHA YZF R 6. It is 50 mm taller than the original, providing increased protection from oncoming airflow. Its carefully designed shape blends harmoniously with the motorcycle’s lines.

Material and construction

The 2 mm-thick windscreen is made from high-quality PMMA plexiglass and has DOT626 approval. The racing shape was developed to provide the most comprehensive possible protection from oncoming airflow and is also used in international motorcycle racing.

Colour options

The windscreen is available in three tint levels. Clear retains a clean appearance, tinted adds a sporty accent, and dark tinted creates an especially distinctive racing look.

Installation

The windscreen replaces the standard part without any modifications to the motorcycle. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all screws must be tightened to a torque of 3 Nm.
