The 2 mm thick racing windscreen is made from high-quality PMMA plexiglass and precision-engineered for the 2015-2019 YAMAHA YZF R 1. Its racing profile provides excellent protection from oncoming airflow and blends harmoniously with the motorcycle’s lines.

Racing shape and versions

The DOT626-tested windscreen is available in two versions. Clear retains a clean look, while the tinted version adds a darker accent.

Racing windscreens of this type are used by numerous teams in world championships. The carefully designed shape combines distinctive styling with a high level of protection from oncoming airflow.

Fitment and installation

The windscreen replaces the original screen without modifications. It is compatible with fairings on which the original windscreen can also be installed. Unless otherwise specified, all screws must be tightened to a torque of 3 Nm.
