The NEWFREN Pro Race steel and friction disc kit combines friction discs and steel discs for the clutch of the Yamaha YZ 125 (CE 01) from 1998. The Pro Race Line was developed in collaboration with renowned and successful teams from the Superbike, Moto 3 and MXGP world championships.

Function and design

The friction material mainly consists of cellulose, resins, carbon and other components. It is designed to have a high coefficient of friction and is less compressible. The special disc design improves oil flow and thereby supports more efficient operation of the clutch. The combination of materials and the execution of the design promote the stability of the pads even under demanding operating conditions.
