The cylinder is gravity cast in permanent steel molds from a hardened and tempered primary aluminum alloy with a high silicon content. Machining is carried out on numerically controlled precision machine tools.

The cylinder liner features a silicon carbide metal coating on an electroplated nickel matrix and is cross-honed with diamond passes. Cylinder and piston are selected for a fit of 0.005 mm. Newly calculated and enlarged heat exchange surfaces as well as designed and tested outlet and transfer channels complete the technical design.

Vehicle assignment and use

Suitable for Vespa PX T 5, built between 1985 and 1993, with 125 2T. The product is intended exclusively for use in competitions at designated venues in accordance with the regulations of the relevant sports associations. No liability is assumed for improper use.
