The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder kit ø 63 aluminum CVF2 pin ø 15 Sport is designed for controlled heat dissipation, improved flow guidance and a resilient construction. The vehicle assignment applies to the Vespa PX E Lusso 150 in the full year range from 1981 to 1997.

Function and construction

The cylinder is made of a high-strength aluminum alloy and has a cylinder liner with a nickel-chrome coating. The uniform wall thickness supports constant heat exchange. Aerodynamically profiled cooling fins promote the flow of cooling air. The revised CVF openings have 7 connections for a flow-efficient design.

The connection to the exhaust is made via a flange connection set with four head screws on the cylinder and an O-ring seal on the exhaust. The system is designed for exhaust systems with a 37 mm inlet diameter. The cylinder head is centered using precisely manufactured support surfaces. A basic set of gaskets with different thicknesses allows the compression to be adapted to different applications.
