MALOSSI multiple shaft set for Vespa PX 125

The MALOSSI multiple shaft set with flexible connections was newly developed based on a Malossi design compared to the original version. The gears are axially offset and centered to ensure consistent spring retention and secure positioning of the drive elements.

Function and construction

• The gears are made of specially hardened and ground steel.
• Newly developed springs are held in place by a clamp screwed to the axle.
• The anti-lock springs have a square cross-section and are shot-peened to increase fatigue resistance.
• The laser-cut spring locking plate is reinforced on the clutch wheel and prevents axial displacement in the event of a break in the transmission system.
• The set can be used with Malossi gears and/or original gears.

Technical data

The gear gradation is Z 12-13-17-20. By extending the 4th gear, the gear ratio changes compared to the original version. Due to the design, the gear shape in the area of ​​the anti-lock device differs from the original.
