POLINI racing clutch with Z23 pinion for Vespa PE 200

The POLINI HT clutch is designed for racing use on the Vespa PE 200. With this design, the inner hub takes over the connection to the crankshaft, while the outer bell no longer performs this function. The reverse functional principle forms the basis for the special design of the clutch.

Function and features

• Pressure plate on thrust bearing for clutch actuation
• Aluminum bell
• Cover of the block with oil collecting channel
• Z23 gear ring with pinion and straight teeth
• Adjustable clutch spring force

The coupling allows the spring force to be adjusted to the respective application. In addition, the teeth of the primary wheel can be selected to fine-tune the gear ratios. By replacing the primary gear, the POLINI HT clutch can be customized with other available spare parts.

Technical features

The construction features enlarged aluminum discs with 8 teeth. This enables higher transmitted power. The gearshift is designed for precise and smooth gear changes.

Suitable for the Vespa PE 200 in the full year range from 1977 to 1997.

Selection note

This product is designed with a Z23 straight tooth sprocket. The selection of the gearing influences the adaptation of the gear ratios and should be tailored to the intended use.
