The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder ø 63 ø 14 4-stroke is for VESPA GTS SUPER 125, built between 2009 and 2016, assigned. The design is intended for use in competitions at designated venues in accordance with the regulations of the relevant sports associations.

• Material: Primary aluminum alloy with a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon
• Cylinder liner with silicon carbide coating in electroplated nickel form
• Cross smoothing with two diamond passes and very limited tolerances
• Cylinder-piston connection with a tolerance of 0.05 mm

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact 3-ring piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with high silicon content, low thermal expansion and tin coating on the sliding surfaces. It is weight-reduced and reinforced. Machining is carried out on numerically controlled machine tools; the heat exchange surfaces have been recalculated and improved.

The ring set includes a nitrided and chrome-plated I-ring, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy. The piston rings are designed for high sliding properties and very high mechanical strength.
