The R&G RACING crash protectors are designed as frame protection for the Suzuki GSX-S 950 A 2 ABS. Their low profile combines a restrained design with a design for use in racing and on the race track, where the focus is on protecting important core components.

Controlled load design

R&G Racing uses deburred, high-strength steel bolts. In the event of an impact, these are designed to bend rather than shear or break. As a result, the design is geared towards a controlled reaction of the retaining bolts under an appropriate load.

Additionally, the construction includes compression sleeves in the protectors. They enable the retaining bolts to be tightened to the intended tightening torque and help prevent loosening due to vibrations.
