AXP Xtrem underrun protection with linkage protection for the Rieju MR PRO 250

The AXP Xtrem underrun protection protects the lower vehicle area of the Rieju MR PRO 250. The construction wraps the frame up to the underside of the footrests and covers the housings. It also protects the water pump and the linkage.

Function and execution

The underrun protection is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) with a thickness of 8 mm. This material is 40% lighter than alloy plates and offers better durability. The design supports maintenance work: the oil can be drained and the oil filter removed without removing the plate.
