The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder ø 63 pin ø 14 4-stroke is designed for the Piaggio Liberty 125 in the 2021-2026 model year range. The component has a bore of 63 mm, a stroke of 58.6 mm and a displacement of 182.67 cm³. The compression ratio is 11.15:1.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact 3-ring piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with high silicon content, low thermal expansion and a tin coating on the sliding surfaces. The numerically controlled machining, the reduced weight and the reinforced design complement the design. The heat exchange surfaces are improved.

The ring set includes an I-ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy. The piston rings are designed for high sliding properties and high mechanical strength.
