Tank covers in classic 1970s style

This pair of tank covers gives the BMW R 1200 R a distinctive vintage look. The black Avus Black covers are made of special carbon-fiber-reinforced resin and feature graphics with a transparent protective coating.

Scope of Delivery and Installation

The covers are supplied with pre-drilled holes, screws, rubber elements, a rear mounting bracket, a leather tank strap and an Ergal spacer. The spacer is installed beneath the red flange of the original fuel cap.

The original side emblems of the R 1200 R are not included. They can be transferred from the motorcycle.
