The AXP Xtrem underrun protection is made of 8 mm thick PE-HD plastic and protects central areas of the KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition. Its coverage extends over the entire frame to the footrests. This means the water pump, housings and linkage are covered by a continuous protective component.

Protective function and construction

The polyethylene plastic used is 30-40% lighter than similar aluminum protection. At the same time, the underrun protection does not generate vibrations and is not subject to deformation. The integrated linkage protection complements the coverage of the frame area up to the footrests.
