The BOYESEN Rad Valve RC2 membrane block with carbon slats is tailored to the intake characteristics of the KTM 125 XC W in the 2017-2019 model year range. The model-specific design combines aerodynamically optimized internal surfaces with a targeted slat tension for this model and this displacement.

Function and construction

The diaphragm block uses a flow-oriented internal geometry to guide the sucked-in mixture evenly through the intake path. Four aerodynamic directional separators distribute the angled flow and are designed to guide without loss of flow. This creates an optimized intake system with a focus on efficiency, acceleration and peak performance.
