Kawasaki Z1000 [2007-2009] - folding clutch and short brake lever set

Controlled lever feel for the Kawasaki Z1000

Developed by Evotech Performance, the set combines a full-length folding clutch lever with a short two-finger brake lever. Deeply rounded edges support comfortable operation and a direct feeling on both levers.

Foldable clutch lever

If it comes into contact with a solid obstacle, the clutch lever blade can move upwards. It is then manually returned to its starting position. A tensioned spring and bearing hold the lever securely in position while driving.

Short brake lever

The non-folding short brake lever is designed for operation with two fingers. Its ball end, which is closer to the vehicle, reduces the exposed lever length. A defined predetermined breaking area at the end of the ball complements the design.

Individually adjustable

• Six-stage reach adjustment on clutch and brake levers
• Typical adjustment range of 17 mm ± 1 mm, measured at the center of the lever
• Milled markings show the selected position
• Red anodized adjusters

Material and manufacturing

• Lever blades and bracket mounts made from CNC machined billet aluminum
• Black, durable anodization of the levers and mounts
• CNC-machined bolts, safety clips and other connecting parts made of stainless steel
• Milled lever backs to reduce weight while maintaining strength
• Ball end dimensions in accordance with legal dimensional specifications

Assembly
