The cover extends over the engine, the housing, the linkage, the water pump and the lower frame up to the footrests. The component thus bundles the protection of central components in the lower area of the vehicle.

Function and structure

The underrun protection is made of PE-HD (High Density PolyEthylene) with a thickness of 8mm. The material is 30-40% lighter than aluminum plates, reduces vibrations and does not absorb shock. The underrun protection retains its original shape after loads. An integrated oil drain hole makes maintenance easier.
