The HINSON pressure plate is tailored to the clutch of the Kawasaki KX 450 X from the 2023-2026 model year range. It promotes smoother rotation of the clutch assembly and helps reduce heat generated when the clutch is disengaged.

Function and properties

Thanks to the improved heat dissipation, the pressure plate supports the clutch function and the service life of the clutch. The precision-engineered design is made from T-6 aircraft-grade aluminum and is manufactured to aerospace tolerances. A hard coating increases wear resistance up to five times that of the standard design, provided appropriate maintenance is carried out.

In conjunction with the HINSON clutch basket and the HINSON pressure plate, clutch shaking is avoided. The pressure plate is therefore intended for applications in which a smoothly running clutch assembly and reduced heat generation during disengagement are relevant.
