RFX Pro Series titanium/aluminum footrests for Husqvarna FC 450

The RFX Pro Series titanium/aluminum footpegs combine a lightweight, CNC-machined aluminum base with robust titanium teeth. This means they offer a resilient contact surface for demanding driving situations and support a controlled foot position on the motorcycle.

Function and construction

• The base is made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and is hard anodized to increase wear resistance.
• Ti-6AL-4V aerospace titanium is used for the teeth.
• The replaceable titanium teeth allow individual teeth to be replaced without having to change the entire set.
• The teeth are thicker than the previously used steel teeth and can therefore reduce wear on the boot.
• Each footrest weighs 160 grams.

Vehicle assignment

The footrests are assigned to the Husqvarna FC 450 built between 2023 and 2027. The vehicle allocation therefore covers the entire model year range 2023-2027.

The design was developed by the in-house R&D team and together with RFX-sponsored riders. The combination of aluminum base and titanium teeth combines low weight with a wear-resistant design for use in difficult conditions.
