The S3 Long Life forged piston is designed as a lightweight and durable piston for the 2019 GasGas EC 300 Ranger. The forged design made of a high-quality aluminum-silicon alloy combines low weight with a resilient construction. A protective layer made of molybdenum disulfide supports the low-friction function of the piston.

Function and execution

Equipped with nitrided steel rings, the piston contributes to a reliable seal in the engine. The low mass limits vibrations and allows the engine to rev faster. The standard compression is suitable for the appropriately designed engine tuning.
