The S3 Long Life forged piston is designed as a forged piston solution for the GAS GAS EC 300 in the full year range from 2001 to 2014. Its aluminum construction combines low weight with durability and supports a rapid increase in engine speed.

Function and execution

The piston is made of a high-quality aluminum-silicon alloy and has a protective layer of molybdenum disulfide. This design limits vibrations during operation. Nitrided steel rings complement the piston construction and are included in the scope of delivery together with the piston, piston pin and snap locks.
