The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. This highly developed chain does not require regular relubrication, which makes it particularly low-maintenance. Extensive testing in laboratories and on the road has proven that the service life of the HPE chain is at least as long, if not longer, than that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. A key advantage of this chain is the coating with Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C), one of the most advanced forms of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the bushings and rollers and ensures a reduction in energy losses and an increase in efficiency in the secondary drive.

The combination of extreme hardness of the coated surface and a low coefficient of friction results in improved performance.
