Paris Dakar tank with 22.5 liter capacity

The Paris Dakar tank expands the fuel volume of the BMW R nineT and changes the seating position at the same time. Its shorter shape allows for a position further forward, reduces the distance to the handlebars and supports greater load on the front wheel.

Range and weight

• Capacity: 22.5 liters
• With an average consumption of 17.7 km/l, a range of 400 km is specified
• Around 1.7 kg lighter than the original tank

Execution and details

The nylon tank is available in a white painted Urban G/S White Light version with graphics under the clear coat and unpainted. The painted version is delivered ready for installation.

Original parts and retrofitting

The original tank cap, the original fuel pump and the original activated carbon filter are still used. The reserve indicator remains functional. No permanent changes need to be made to the motorcycle, meaning the conversion is completely reversible.
