This book is dedicated to the Paris-Dakar and, in particular, to the protagonists who took part in the first African editions. Their motorcycles, colors, sponsors and graphics created images that remain associated with the rally's legend to this day.

“Obiettivo Dakar” retraces the routes of the Paris-Dakar through the accounts of eight participants who experienced its challenges and special moments intensely. The book brings together some of these stories and adventures, preserving memories of the event's early editions.

The featured protagonists include Fabio Marcaccini from Unit Garage. His experiences and work help keep the legend of the race alive. Experiences from the Dakar and later rallies also form the basis for some of Unit Garage's ideas.
