Obiettivo Dakar is dedicated to the early African editions of the Paris-Dakar, their motorcycles and the people who contributed to the creation of this myth. The book traces the routes of Thierry Sabine's race through the experiences of eight protagonists.

Content

The focus is on the challenges and special moments of the early Dakar years as well as the characteristic motorcycles with their colors, sponsors and graphics. Among the personalities represented in the book is Fabio Marcaccini from Unit Garage, who contributes his stories and experiences. The experiences of the Dakar participants and later rallies also provide a source of inspiration for various ideas from Unit Garage.
