BOYESEN wheel membrane block for Yamaha YZ 125

The BOYESEN wheel diaphragm block is developed as a model-specific intake system for the Yamaha YZ 125 built in 2001. The design combines an optimized inner surface with a 4-way diffuser to guide the intake air flows in a targeted manner and avoid pressure losses.

Function and design

The membrane plates have variable flexibility and are tailored to the specific model. They are made of aviation-grade carbon and have a rubber coating. The material used is hydrocarbon-resistant and therefore supports a longer service life of the seals.

The RC2 membrane block technology was developed for competition use. By optimizing the intake air flow, it can improve the efficiency, performance and pulling power of the motorcycle. The design takes into account several opening levels of the membrane plates.
