AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for the Husqvarna TE 250

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection is designed for the 2017 Husqvarna TE 250 and offers continuous protection of the engine area. The construction extends from the frame to the underside of the footrests and thus covers a large area of ​​the relevant subfloor.

Function and construction

• Made from high density polyethylene with a material thickness of 8 mm.
• Extended protective plate to protect the shock absorber linkage.
• Double material thickness under the linkage thanks to an included reinforcement part.
• New design and new manufacturing process for use in the enduro sector.

The extended version extends the protection beyond the engine area to the shock absorber linkage. In this particularly stressed zone, the additional part reinforces the construction with twice the material thickness. The underrun protection combines large-area coverage with targeted reinforcement on the linkage.

Testing and execution

The underrun protection was tested and approved by Wade Young from the Sherco Factory Team after a year of testing under “Hard / Extreme” conditions. The version is in black.
