The BOYESEN wheel membrane block is a model-specific intake system developed for the KTM 250 EXC SIX Days in the 2007-2016 model year range. Its design combines an optimized internal surface with a 4-way diffuser, which optimizes the air flow in the intake area and is intended to avoid pressure losses.

Function and construction

The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum. The inner surfaces are designed to guide the intake air in a streamlined manner. Variable flexibility of the model-specific membrane plates supports the coordinated opening and closing behavior of the inlet system. The membrane plates are made of aviation-grade carbon and have a hydrocarbon-resistant rubber coating. This supports the service life of the seals.
