BOYESEN wheel membrane block for Kawasaki KX 125

The BOYESEN wheel membrane block was developed for the Kawasaki KX 125 (KX 125 L) from the 1999-2002 model year range. Its design is tailored to optimized intake air guidance and responsive intake behavior.

Structure and function

The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum and has an optimized inner surface. A 4-way diffuser supports the guidance of the air flows and serves to reduce pressure losses in the intake area. The model-specific membrane plates have variable flexibility and are made of aviation-grade carbon.

In addition, the membrane plates are provided with a hydrocarbon-resistant rubber coating. This design supports a longer service life for the seals. Matching the membrane plates to the respective motorcycle model takes into account different opening levels for the intake.
