Pistons and piston rings

The weight-reduced and reinforced piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content and low thermal expansion. A tin coating on the sliding surfaces supports the defined design of the components. The piston ring equipment includes a nitrided and chrome-plated I-ring, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.
