The YSS Gas Top Line Z-Series rear shock absorber is intended for the Yamaha XJ 6 N SP (RJ 22) in the 2013-2014 model year range. Its adjustable functions make it possible to specifically support and control the movement of the spring and shock absorber.

Adjustable damping and spring preload

The rebound of the shock absorber can be adjusted using the rebound setting. The adjustment knob regulates the flow of hydraulic oil via the vent. The clicking noise that can be heard during adjustment makes operation easier and makes the individual adjustment steps understandable.

The spring preload is adjusted via a threaded spring preload ring. By screwing it tight, the spring and ring are pressed together, and the ring can then be locked in the desired position.
