The AFAM chain kit is designed for off-road use with the KTM 500 EXC from the 2012-2016 model year range. The 13/50 design combines a reinforced sprocket version with a standard sprocket and supports reliable power transmission in demanding off-road use.

Structure and function

The chain features a chain pitch of 520, super-reinforced quality and AFAM chain type XRR3. Seals protect the moving chain areas during operation. The gold/black version makes it easier to visually check the chain and gives the drive a clearly recognizable look.

The rear sprocket is made of steel. Together with the steel sprocket, a resilient combination is created for power transmission between the engine and rear wheel. The chain kit is intended for off-road use.
