Air filter for the KTM 200 EXC

The TECNIUM air filter keeps dust, sand and dirt away from the engine during racing. As a result, it helps protect important mechanical components such as pistons, cylinders and valves while allowing the air required for the engine to pass through.

Structure and function

The filter works with two foam layers of different densities. The open-pored outer layer catches coarse dirt particles. A second layer of denser foam holds back even the finest dust particles and allows air to continue to flow through. The air filter combines the absorption of foreign bodies with free air permeability.

Vehicle assignment

The air filter is assigned to the KTM 200 EXC in the full year range from 2008 to 2011.

Selection note

The flexible seal supports surface contact between the air filter and the air filter housing. The two-layer foam design is designed for use in filtering dust, sand and dirt.
