The AXP Xtrem underrun protection comprehensively protects the frame of the GAS GAS EX 450 F down to below the footrests. Its construction also completely encloses the water pump and offers the linkage an extended protection area thanks to the additional material thickness.

Function and construction

  • Protection of the frame up to below the footrests
  • Complete enclosure of the water pump
  • Additional thickness of 16 mm in total below the pole
  • Oil filter change and oil draining are possible without removing the plate

The underrun protection is made of PE-HD with a thickness of 8mm and is finished in red. The polyethylene used is 40% lighter than aluminum, does not deform, does not generate vibrations and ages better over time. The total weight is 1,550kg.
