Comprehensive Paris-Dakar conversion for the BMW R nineT

This comprehensive kit transforms the BMW R nineT into a touring motorcycle inspired by the classic R80 G/S Paris-Dakar style. The shorter 22,5-liter tank changes the seating and riding position, while the fairing, two-piece seat, luggage solutions, protective components, Ergo handlebar and high titanium silencer form a functionally coordinated package. The painted body parts are supplied ready to install, with graphics beneath the clear coat.

Tank and bodywork

• Gloss black painted nylon tank with protected graphics
• Capacity: 22,5 liters
• The shorter tank enables a more forward-oriented riding position and reduces the distance to the handlebar.
• The original fuel cap, fuel pump and activated carbon filter are retained.
• The reserve warning light continues to function.
• All required tank brackets are included.
• The conversion requires no permanent modifications and is fully reversible.

Seat and luggage transport

• Comfortable two-piece seat with a seat height of 850 mm, matching the original Urban G/S
• The passenger seat can be removed quickly with the supplied key to increase the available luggage area.
• Aluminum luggage rack plate with matte black epoxy powder coating, mounting screws and non-slip rubber feet
• Steel passenger grab handles with matte black epoxy powder coating; also suitable for attaching bags or luggage straps
• Handcrafted tail bag made of Italian full-grain leather, stitched with nylon thread; dimensions: 200 × 280 mm, height 150 mm
• Hand-stitched tool bag made of cotton fabric and leather; open 20 × 36 cm, rolled 20 × 10 cm

Front fairing, fender and headlight guard

The Fenouil front fairing and front fender echo the design of the classic R80 GS PD. Both parts are made of ABS, painted and clear-coated. They provide aerodynamic protection and are installed without modifying the motorcycle.

Protection and rear conversion

• Heavy-duty steel crash bars with double side protection tubes

• Most maintenance work can be performed without removing the crash bars.
• Compatible with OEM and aftermarket protective parts as well as cylinder head covers
• Rear ABS fender with modular aluminum license plate holder, integrated LED light and turn signal brackets
• Plug-and-play wiring with connectors; no soldering or modification of the original wiring required
• Stainless steel screw set for the rear conversion included
• The rear fender can also be used with the original seat and with or without the passenger subframe.

Handlebar and controls

• Old-school Ergo steel handlebar with crossbar and constant diameter of 22 mm
• Matte black epoxy powder coating
• Same height as the original handlebar, but with a more comfort-oriented shape
• Compatible with heated grips and the original controls
• Yellow handlebar pad with Unit Garage logo; length 23,5 cm, diameter 6 cm
• Pair of CNC-machined handlebar ends in gloss black, including M12 mounting screws

High titanium silencer

• 1-in-2-in-1 system with stainless steel link pipes and handcrafted MotoGP-style titanium silencer
• Approximately 2,8 kg lighter than the original system
• Removable dB killer
• Mounts to the original anti-vibration mount when the passenger subframe is installed
• If the passenger subframe is removed, an additional original BMW bracket is required.
• Includes E-approval with E-number.
• Customers of Swiss nationality can request an additional approval document from the manufacturer. The document is issued by the Swiss registration authority and is subject to a fee.

Compatibility and installation

The kit is designed for the BMW R nineT Urban G/S with a high exhaust. The included crash bar is compatible with all R-nineT models from model year 2017 onward, including Euro-5 models. The components are supplied ready to install and are designed so that the described conversions can be completed without permanent modifications to the motorcycle.
