PUIG Rear Hugger for the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade / SP

More coverage around the rear wheel and uncompromisingly sporty lines: The PUIG Rear Hugger was developed specifically for the supersport styling of the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade / SP. It complements the racing design while protecting the motorcycle and rider from potential splashes and objects thrown up from the road.

Robust ABS construction

Developed in Barcelona, the rear hugger is made from 3 mm thick ABS plastic. The material is resistant to potential impacts and water spray. Its shape covers a vulnerable area around the rear wheel while complementing the motorcycle’s supersport character.

Protection and aerodynamic design

The profile was tested in aerodynamic studies and designed to reduce turbulence generated alongside the rear wheel. At the same time, its shape channels water away and helps protect the rider and motorcycle from splashes and potential stone impacts.

Two sporty finishes

The rear hugger is available in matt black and carbon look. Both versions complement the Fireblade’s racing character without changing the component’s technical design.

Installation and compatibility

Installation requires no special mechanical expertise and is stated to take no more than ten minutes. A fitting kit and instructions make installation easier. If accessories are already fitted, check beforehand whether they can be used together with the rear hugger.
