This tachoge housing from brands offers an innovative way to individually design the appearance of your motorcycle. It has a 2.4-inch touchscreen that enables the integration of your own images. These can be uploaded via the micro SD card and displayed as a start picture for three seconds when the ignition is switched on. The adjustment of the display is easy and can be completed within about two to three hours.

Personalization of the speedometer

The personalization of the speedometer takes place by the following steps:

• Installation of the display editor from the Nextion website.
• Download of a basic design that serves as a template for the individual design.
• Use of specific IDs and names for image integration that are required to communicate with the microcontroller.
• Provision of a micro SD card with at least 1GB storage space, formatted in FAT32.
• Creation of your own JPG images in the resolution 320 x 240 pixels, which are then transferred to the SD card.
• Compilation of the final product and transfer to the SD card.
• Use of the SD card in the display slot and supply of the speedometer with 12 volts. The SD card is removed after the display has loaded the data.
