KAWASAKI Z900 [2025] - Bremsenkühler 2.0
Description
PUIG Brake Cooler 2.0 for the Kawasaki Z900
The PUIG Brake Cooler 2.0 directs airflow specifically toward the brake calipers, helping maintain more consistent temperatures during demanding braking. Track testing found an average reduction in brake temperature of 10 °C. Particularly during hard, repeated deceleration and in high ambient temperatures, this can contribute to more consistent braking performance and a more precise braking feel.

Targeted airflow to the brake calipers
The two cooling ducts capture the oncoming airflow, channel and accelerate it, then direct it straight toward the brake calipers. This allows the system to support heat dissipation and counteract thermal overload under heavy use.
Two additional deflectors in the lower section minimize turbulence at the front wheel and offset the aerodynamic drag of the cooling ducts.
Four coordinated components
- Two air ducts for cooling the brake calipers
- Two deflectors or wheel covers
- Lightweight, durable stainless-steel brackets
- Bracket finish in subtly textured black
The components are manufactured at the PUIG factory in Barcelona using modern plastic molding technologies. Black, Matte Black and Carbon Look finishes are available.

Installation and long-lasting security
Installation can be completed within a few minutes. As the components are mounted in a sensitive area of the motorcycle, the specified screw torque must be observed. Regularly checking that the fasteners are tight helps ensure the components remain securely attached over time.
