The PUIG Seat Cowl was developed specifically for the 2021 Kawasaki ZX-10R and ZX-10RR. It replaces the passenger seat and gives the motorcycle a clean solo-seat look, with lines inspired by modern racing motorcycles.

Thoughtful design for rider and motorcycle

The rear seat cowl features a raised front section designed to support the rider in a sporty seating position. A precisely cut foam pad at the front increases comfort when the rider braces against the cowl while riding.

A central fin in signature Kawasaki green echoes the styling of racing tails with spoilers and fins. For a more understated look, the fin can be omitted and the remaining opening covered with the dedicated adhesive cover.

High-quality construction from PUIG

PUIG developed the Seat Cowl using its experience from MotoGP and WorldSBK and manufactured it at its own facilities in Montmeló, near the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The component is made from high-quality, 4 mm thick ABS plastic and measures 210 mm wide and 385 mm long overall.

The aluminum brackets are preassembled, forming a ready-to-install unit with the cowl. This allows PUIG to combine precise, model-specific design with clean, sporty styling.

Three available versions

  • Black: glossy black finish
  • Matte Black: subtle matte finish
  • Carbon Look: sporty carbon-look finish

Installation in the original seat position

The PUIG Seat Cowl uses the same mounting system as the passenger seat it replaces. The existing passenger seat is removed, and the cowl is installed in its place. No drilling into the motorcycle's plastic parts is required.
