Ducati Multistrada V4 [2025] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sac

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Ducati Multistrada V4 model 2025. This product enables the corresponding tank bag to be secured and easy to attach to your machine.

Product features and scope of delivery

• The tanking ensures a stable hold of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds.
• A mechanical lock makes operation easier by simply putting on the tank bag and automatically locking.
• The unlocking takes place by pressing a belt on the tank backpack, which is attached in the direction of travel, which means that the backpack can be easily removed.
• The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and the corresponding counterholder, which is installed depending on the tank shape and the handlebar on the tank bag.
• The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when fueled.

Additional Information

• No general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is required in Germany to use the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed approx. 3 kg.

Differentiation to other tankring models

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of domes mounted on the tanking.

Note that tank bags with a lock-IT counter holder cannot be installed on a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
