The suitcase carrier of Hepco & Becker, especially designed for the R 850 GS model from 1994 to 2000, ensures robust and secure attachment of the side cases. These carriers are screwed directly to the frame of the machine and offer a stable basis for almost all Touring side case systems from Hepco & Becker.

Technical details and assembly

The carriers are made of high -quality steel tube and carry the seal of quality Made in Germany. They are characterized by a permanent connection with the motorcycle frame and an excellent surface finish. The diameter of the pipe is 16 mm, which ensures high stability.

To secure the suitcases on the carrier, a metal lock is planned that works with a castle adapter. This adapter is attached to the back of the carrier on both sides and establishes the connection to the suitcase retarded. As a rule, the castle adapter is included in the scope of delivery of the side cases.

Compatibility and security

The suitcase carriers are designed in such a way that in the event of an accident, they can offer additional protection for the driver's legs and passenger. As a rule, they can be combined without modifications with the Hepco & Becker rear carriers, which enables flexible use.
